(Images, links, and a 3D model of the scene are all bellow for those who are interested)
TV Omnibus is the final project for myself and my friend Grant in Advanced Typography. The guidelines were very open ended, so we decided to express ourselves by creating an aesthetically pleasing scene. The piece consists of mixed and digital media, including paint/ink on stickers and wood, 3D modelling, ascii art, 2D animation, and several other elements. The scene has a CRT television, which is cycling through five videos. Grant created three shorter videos, and I created two longer ones. The videos will be linked bellow if you wish to see what was displayed on the television.
My two videos were a timelapse of me covering the table in graffiti, and a lyric video for The Grounds Crew by Sespi. Grant's consisted of an animation of an "OPEN" sign, ASCII art of a floating "HELLO", and a nature scene with words that bounce around the edges of the screen.
The rest of the scene, aside from the table and CRT television, contained two Amazing Spiderman comics (issues 232 and 233), a desk lamp, a 1998 Godzilla figure, three DVD cases (The Truman Show, Memento, and Godzilla 1998), sticky notes with the name of the project and collaborators, and headphones to allow viewers to listen to the music and ambient sounds.
This will be up until the 19th of December.

If 3D model isn't here, you may have to wait a moment for it to load. This model was created using Polycam. Unfortunately, my phone does not have Lidar, so I had to use only the cameras. Still, it gives a pretty good idea of what the scene looks like in person.
